London office of European leader Rud Pedersen adds four more
Leading independent European public affairs and strategic communications firm Rud Pedersen has recruited seasoned corporate affairs professional and business journalist Andrew Clark as a Director in its fast-growing Westminster office. Clark served until recently as Corporate Affairs Director at The Go-Ahead Group. A Cambridge graduate, he was formerly a business editor at The Times, The Guardian and The Observer, including postings to New York and Sydney. He was a Senior Director for Issues and Public Affairs at BCW Global, now known as Burson, before joining GFG Alliance as UK Head of Communications. He is a former Chief Operating Officer of Labour in the City, the network for Labour-supporting professionals in financial services.
Also joining Rud Pedersen’s London office in the coming weeks is Account Director Alex Reeves, who arrives from the Betting and Gaming Council where he has served as Head of Public Affairs since 2021. Previously, Reeves was part of the public affairs team at the London office of Sard Verbinnen & Co which now forms part of FGS Global. He worked for the Conservative Party in the run up to the 2015 general election, as a staff member in the Chairman’s Office, then spent three years at the Industry and Parliament Trust as Parliamentary Officer. Alex obtained his first degree at Queen Mary University of London and a Masters in Global Politics and Law at the University of Sheffield.
Isobel Moseley joins the team as Account Manager. Most recently, she has been supporting two of Britain's most influential political journalists, Gabriel Pogrund (Sunday Times) and Patrick Maguire (The Times), on the research for their forthcoming book 'Get In', the story of the Labour Party's transformation and general election victory under Sir Keir Starmer. Previously, she was a Senior Manager at Weber Shandwick, running integrated strategic communications and public affairs campaigns across a range of sectors. She was also an Executive at Portland during the COVID pandemic. Isobel graduated with a First in Languages from Brasenose College, Oxford University, and earned a Masters in Investigative Journalism at City University.
Sophia Paphitis joins the London office as Operations Manager from a fast-growing recruitment consultancy in the insurance sector where she has worked in a similar capacity for the past four years. She will provide support to the management team at Rud Pedersen UK and coordinate with colleagues throughout Europe, to develop the systems and processes needed to support continued business growth. Sophia has focused especially on developing her professional capabilities in HR administration and has earned a CIPD level 5 qualification, having studied Psychology at Kings College London.
