Rud Pedersen Public Affairs Sweden is delighted to welcome Kathrin Österlund as a new partner in the firm. Kathrin will continue to lead Rud Pedersen Sweden's Tech & Finance business area. She joined the company in 2019 and has a background in the Social Democrat party, having worked both within the Government Offices and Region Stockholm in various political-level roles on strategically important issues.

Morten Rud Pedersen, Founder, Chair of the Board, and majority owner of Rud Pedersen Sweden as well as CEO of Rud Pedersen Group, commented as follows: "Kathrin Österlund is both a commercial force to be reckoned with within the company and a very important component both in terms of what we offer the market as well as internally. She is a team player who knows how to gain, retain, and develop both business and trust. I speak for the entire Swedish partner group when I say that we are extremely happy to welcome Kathrin as a new partner."

Mattias Zackrisson, Managing Partner of Rud Pedersen Sweden said: “We’re proud to announce that Kathrin, who has been a vital part of our company since 2019, is now stepping into the role of partner. Her unwavering dedication, strong leadership skills, and deep understanding of our business have played a key role in our success. Elevating her to partner is a natural and well-deserved progression - and a clear reflection of both her impact and our commitment to growing with the right people at the helm as we shape the future.”

Kathrin Österlund commented as follows: "I am both happy and grateful for this opportunity and I look forward to working together with the partner group and all my dedicated colleagues in the onward journey to develop the firm. What we achieve together for our clients makes a difference and I am convinced our client offering will play a vital role in the future as well. At the very least, ongoing geopolitical shifts and business’s needs and ambitions, the green transition, and digitalisation are increasing the demand for well-informed, strategic advice."

In 2025, Rud Pedersen Sweden's partner group consists of eight (8) people: Morten Rud Pedersen, Mattias Zackrisson, Ella Bohlin, Roger Hällhag, Jan-Evert Rådhström, Henrik Sjöholm, Bertil Kinnunen, and Kathrin Österlund.
