Rud Pedersen Group Launches RP People Brand in EU Capital Through Acquisition of Leading Brussels Recruitment Agency
The Rud Pedersen Group today announced the Brussels launch of its public affairs and communications executive search brand RP People with the acquisition of Rtesian Resources, an executive search company focused on the EU market.
The Group’s new Brussels offering will help corporates, EU associations and civil society organisations identify and recruit the best public affairs and communications talent in the EU market. RP People will operate alongside its fast-growing Rud Pedersen Public Affairs brand in Brussels, which provides public affairs and communications support to EU focused clients.
President and CEO of Rud Pedersen Group, Morten Rud Pedersen, said “The launch of RP People in Brussels allows us to provide a complete service to our clients. They are increasingly asking us to help them to conduct public affairs and communications, think about the structure and capabilities of their internal functions and to find professionals to lead them.”
As part of the agreement, Rtesian Resources founder Ian Burns becomes the Head of RP People, European Union, reporting to James Stevens, Managing Partner of Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in Brussels. Rtesian co-founder Aart van Iterson becomes an advisor to RP People in Brussels. They join RP People colleagues already conducting executive search assignments in Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm.
Ian said “Rtesian’s transformation into RP People is a natural step in our evolution in the market. As a communications group whose core business is public affairs across Europe, Rud Pedersen allows our clients greater access to the best talent available on the Brussels market and beyond.”
