Current deputy Managing Partner Kristina von Sydow will be the new Managing Partner of Rud Pedersen Sweden after the summer.

“Kristina von Sydow's qualities, both as a consultant and as a leader, make her very well suited to continue driving the development of Rud Pedersen to further strengthen our offerings to our clients,” said Morten Rud Pedersen, CEO of the Rud Pedersen Group.

“It is becoming increasingly business-critical for our customers to have a good understanding of political processes and a clear plan for strategic social contacts for public/private sector interactions. Increasingly complex societal challenges require collaboration between politics, business, and organizations. In this field, Rud Pedersen has, for many years, built up a strong offer and I look forward to working with our expert team of consultants and specialists to take Rud Pedersen to the next level, to strengthen our market-leading position, and to continue to create value for our customers,” Kristina von Sydow said.

Kristina von Sydow has broad experience from a variety of public sector organizations in Sweden and in the EU. She has previously worked for the EU Commission as advisor to EU Commissioner Cecilia Malmström; at the Ministry of Justice as a colleague of Tobias Billström, the minister, and as a lawyer at the European Parliament. Kristina has also been Vice-President and Business Policy Manager for companies in the food industry.

The present Managing Partner, Andreas Krohn, will move into a strategic management role within the Rud Pedersen Group, focusing on the continued development and expansion of the whole group.

Rud Pedersen Sweden is one of the leading public affairs agencies in the Nordic region, with a turnover of EUR 21 million in 2018.
