Samanta works closely with companies in the technology and life sciences sectors, advising them on public policy, stakeholder engagement and market access strategies.
Her work covers legislative and regulatory developments, including the implementation of European Union legislation. Samanta supports clients in understanding policy developments, anticipating future regulatory change and its impact, and engaging with policymakers and industry stakeholders.
Her perspective is grounded in experience on both sides of policymaking. Before joining VA Government in 2024, Samanta was a Senior Expert at the Latvian Ministry of Economics, managing business competitiveness and innovation projects focused on strengthening the business environment and supporting business growth. She developed national policy initiatives, coordinated cooperation between government and industry, and represented the Ministry in discussions with industry, public institutions and international partners in healthcare and technology.
This experience gives her first-hand insight into how policy is developed, negotiated and implemented in practice. She draws on this background to help clients understand the priorities behind policy decisions, develop effective strategies and build credible relationships with stakeholders.
