Renata Taušan joins Rud Pedersen Croatia with seven years of professional experience in regional, national, and European policymaking. She has driven regional development through the design of strategic frameworks and the preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects.

At Rud Pedersen Croatia, Renata supports corporations and industry associations by analysing EU and national policy files, assessing their impact, and translating complex developments into clear strategic options and action plans. She works across Croatia and Brussels, providing insights into legislative and funding frameworks and advising clients on engagement strategies with EU institutions and Member States.

Her recent projects include analysing the EU’s Global Gateway strategy and advising stakeholders on access pathways, identifying opportunities for Croatian companies within IPCEI initiatives and industrial value chains, and monitoring legislative developments in the energy sector. She also does assessments and communicates client opportunities related to the EU Innovation Fund.

Before joining Rud Pedersen Croatia, Renata led the Brussels regional representation office for Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem, enhancing the region’s visibility at the EU level through structured engagement with European institutions, organisation of high-level events, and coordination of delegations. Earlier in her career, she held positions at the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds and at VIDRA – Regional Development Agency, where she specialised in strategic planning and EU project management.

Renata holds a Master’s degree in Pedagogy from the University of Zagreb.
