Kjetil Skogrand

Kjetil is head of the Norwegian Defence and Security Team. He has long experience supporting producers of defence technology in winning tenders in Norway. He also specialises in energy, industry, crisis communication and geopolitical risk analysis.

Trained as security policy expert, Kjetil served as Deputy Foreign Minister in the second Stoltenberg-government.

He has also held several managerial positions in the public sector. He served as Head of the Security Section at the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and as Coordinator of Strategic Analysis in the Norwegian Ministry of Defence. He has been Head of Section for Norwegian Security Policy at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies and has published numerous books and articles on global security issues.

Kjetil is a seasoned advisor in navigating the political and administrative decision-making structures in Norway. He has helped clients managing complex crises at home, as well as in an international context. He also has an outstanding track-record in securing large public contracts.
