Katariina Kataja
Katariina specialises in investor relations and financial communications for listed companies and organisations preparing to list. At Rud Pedersen Finland, she leads the development of the firm’s investor relations and financial communications services business and offering, delivering outsourced IR support and project management to public companies at every stage of their capital-markets journey. She joined Rud Pedersen Finland in 2026.
With more than ten years of experience gained at Finnish and international companies listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, Katariina advises on IR strategy, financial reporting, stock-exchange disclosure, and capital-markets engagement. She works across technology, industrial, investment, and financial-services environments, advising leadership teams, senior management, finance, and communications teams on how to plan and deliver clear, credible communications to investors and analysts. Her work spans the full IR cycle: from building investor-relations functions and reporting processes from the ground up, to managing ongoing investor and analyst dialogue, roadshows, capital-markets presentations, annual general meetings, and sustainability reporting.
Recent projects include: leading interim investor-relations operations for a recently listed industrial company on Nasdaq Helsinki, covering reporting, investor meetings, analyst relations, and investor targeting; building and developing the investor-relations function at a listed heating and energy-efficiency company, including IR strategy, reporting processes, investor materials, and annual general meeting processes; managing investor communications, roadshows, and analyst relations at a listed software company through a refinancing and a public tender offer; and establishing investor-relations and listing-related communications for a financial-services company preparing for and completing a stock-exchange listing.
Previous roles include head of investor relations and financial communications positions at Kalmar, Purmo Group, Basware, United Bankers, CapMan, Metsä Group, Wärtsilä, and F-Secure.
