Harri Saukkomaa

Specialising in crisis communication, reputation management and deep understanding in media landscape Harri is founder of Tekir which has been a leading communication agency in Finland since 2008. In 2026 Tekir was integrated with Rud Pedersen Finland.

Harri has a more than 40 years’ experience as investigative journalism, leadership in big media companies and his own companies as well. Harri has extensive network in Finnish political elite and business leaders as well. Harri is known as leading expert in crisis communication, media relationships and political networks.

Harri is also active keynote speaker and a writer of with eight nonfiction books. He is also well known with more than ten years expert as whisperer and mentor of business leaders. He is also active member of different company boards.

Harri has been working in five countries (Sweden, France, US (NY), Brussels and Jerusalem). He divides his time between Helsinki and Istanbul where he and his wife have a second home.

Harri has a deep understanding of communication as leadership tool. He has also worked at least 100 worst crisis communication cases in Finland. And in other countries as well. He has been expert member of University of Georgia and Amsterdam University CCTT (Crisis communication Think Tank).
