Eeva Ahdekivi

Eeva is a finance professional with a long career in investment banking, equity investing, anchor ownership and venture capital. She has also worked as a board member in various listed and non-listed companies, and in their audit committees. Eeva is an adviser to Rud Pedersen in Helsinki.

Previously, Eeva was managing director of a family wealth company, managing private equity and listed equity investments (assets EUR 800m). Prior to that she was an investment director at Solidium, the sovereign wealth fund of the Finnish state (assets EUR 8 bn). Eeva possesses a good understanding of EU capital market practices through vice-chairmanship of the Market Practice Board of the Finnish Securities Markets, and through numerous restructurings of owned companies. Eeva has gained a broad societal perspective through her work in the Public and the Third Sector. In her doctoral thesis she has researched the governance and investments of non-profit foundations, and she is active in several non-profit boards.
