Chelsea Whyte

Specialising in digital communications and political campaigns, Chelsea leads public affairs and strategic communications teams to deliver strategies for clients across a range of sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, transport, financial and legal services.

Since joining Rud Pedersen, Chelsea has worked across integrated accounts, combining political and communications expertise to advise clients on profile building, regulatory challenges and stakeholder engagement. Recent projects include building the public affairs capability of an emerging pharmaceutical company, advising on digital communications for UK and EU trade associations, and organising stakeholder engagement events for a global vehicle manufacturer.

Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, Chelsea was political assistant to the Elected Mayor of Watford, working on issues such as public health, planning, and development, and she successfully led the Mayor’s re-election campaign in 2022. Chelsea was also parliamentary assistant to the Leader of the Liberal Democrats in the European Parliament in Brussels, advising on home affairs, civil liberties, human rights, and environmental issues. She also provided policy and public affairs expertise to the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats Group (now Renew Europe).
