Specialising in climate and energy policy, Peter offers expert counsel to clients navigating the European Green Deal and related regulatory frameworks.

As Senior Adviser at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in Brussels, Peter provides strategic guidance on climate and energy policy, leveraging his extensive experience in EU policy development. He is an acknowledged expert in the shift to a low-carbon economy and has been involved in developing EU climate policy for over two decades. Recent projects include: advising on the European Green Deal, providing insights into carbon pricing mechanisms, and assisting clients in navigating EU energy regulations.

Before joining Rud Pedersen, Peter led the development of European Union climate policy in various roles within the European Commission.

Peter holds a Master’s degree in History from the University of Cambridge and is fluent in English, and French.
