Emanuel dos Santos
Emanuel has four years’ experience in EU public affairs and EU policy-making, in particular in the areas of sustainable finance, taxonomies, sustainability reporting and corporate governance issues. He specialised in advising companies in both the financial and non-financial space on public affairs strategies and advocacy campaigns, including in the banking, asset management, insurance, manufacturing and energy sectors.
He was previously a Parliamentary Advisor to two Members of the European Parliament, covering development cooperation, human rights and terrorism-related matters.
Emanuel holds an M.A. in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe, Bruges. He also has a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal and the Izmir University of Economics, Izmir, Turkey.
In addition to his Portuguese mother tongue, Emanuel speaks English, French, Spanish and elementary Arabic.
