Steve Murdoch OBE joined Rud Pedersen in Apr 2025 as Senior Military Adviser, attached to the London office. Following a long career in the UK’s Royal Navy, including serving as Executive Assistant to the First Sea Lord/Chief of the Navy, and subsequently with Babcock International Group, he offers Defence clients an unmatched combination of military, defence industry, policy and procurement expertise.
With extensive experience in leading high-calibre teams, he has driven major Defence contract successes in Britain and around the world, shaping the future of defence design, build and support solutions.
With an MBA in Supply Chain & Strategic Relationship Management from Bath University, he is an accomplished board adviser, strategic consultant and ambassador for defence and maritime innovation who draws from his multi-disciplined military and industrial experience to provide leading edge counsel to our clients.
