Jon Aarons

Jon Aarons is Group Director for Strategic Development at Rud Pedersen, spearheading the growth of its London office and business throughout Europe. He has worked as a strategic communications adviser for 35 years, including successful periods in senior roles at two of the world's leading consultancies, FTI Consulting and Sard Verbinnen. Jon has an extensive network of relationships throughout the world and deep experience of providing solutions for clients by engaging with journalists, investors, analysts, employees, customers, lawmakers, regulators, and other stakeholders. He is a specialist in cross-border issues, crisis, litigation and transaction assignments, with particular knowledge of emerging and high growth markets. Jon has been responsible for the development of a global communications network, sourcing acquisitions, completing integrations and building strategic partnerships. He led FTI Consulting's partnership with the World Economic Forum for five years. Jon began his career on the staff of a senior British politician, the former Foreign Secretary and Social Democrat leader Lord David Owen. He is a past President of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
