Gunnar Wieslander

From 2015 to 2020, Gunnar held the positions of Senior Vice President and Head of Kockums, the naval division of Saab Group. Between 2006 and 2014, he served two terms as State Secretary, first at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs under Minister for Trade Ewa Björling and then to Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. For two decades, Gunnar served in the Swedish Navy including as a submarine commander and Head of the Submarine Force. Wieslander has also been a military advisor to the Minister of Defence.
