Omar Anguita

Omar is the Head of Strategy and Advocacy at Rud Pedersen Spain. He is a former member of the Spanish Parliament with deep experience in public policy and institutional strategy.

At Rud Pedersen, Omar focuses on building effective public-private partnerships. He helps clients become part of the solution to public sector challenges—whether by accelerating bureaucratic processes, reopening rejected projects, or aligning their value with government priorities. He designs strategies that deliver real outcomes, not just visibility.

Omar has worked with clients across industries including energy, mobility, health, and tech, helping them navigate complex institutional landscapes and position themselves as credible partners to public authorities. His legislative experience, including his role in Spain’s COVID-19 Reconstruction Committee, allows him to anticipate political dynamics and shape impactful advocacy.

Omar's goal is to continue driving collaboration between public institutions and private actors, ensuring our clients contribute to Spain’s economic and social progress.

Externally, he serves on the national executive board of the Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE) and has played a strategic role in national and regional election campaigns. He previously served as a Member of Parliament, where I helped draft and negotiate key legislation.
