Fernando Viñas

Specialising in technology, the digital economy and regulatory affairs, Fernando is part of the Public Affairs team at Rud Pedersen in Spain since 2023, where he advises leading technology companies and digital platforms on their engagement with public institutions and regulatory bodies.
With more than seven years of experience in institutional relations and public affairs, he has developed and implemented corporate diplomacy, institutional positioning and regulatory analysis strategies for clients operating in regulated sectors such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and cybersecurity. His work combines technical monitoring of legislative initiatives with the preparation of advocacy materials, policy papers and stakeholder engagement strategies targeting public decision-makers.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, Fernando worked in the Institutional Affairs Department of Ciudadanos, where he was responsible for the party’s political strategy and messaging across all institutions. He has also collaborated with companies in the urban micromobility sector, supporting the development of their corporate diplomacy strategies.
Fernando holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Barcelona and a degree in Law from the Open University of Catalonia. He also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Affairs Management at Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE) and executive training in artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship.
