Specialising in mineral water, solar energy and environmental affairs, Carolina supports clients in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and strengthening their institutional positioning across Spain.
At Rud Pedersen, Carolina works within the Health & Environment Practice, where she designs and implements public affairs and communication strategies for leading companies in the water and renewable energy industries. Her work focuses on aligning corporate interests with regional and national policy priorities, engaging key stakeholders and developing narratives that build legitimacy and trust around local projects. Recent assignments include supporting permitting strategies for renewable energy developers, enhancing their social licence to operate, and advising on water governance and sustainability issues.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, Carolina worked at the European Commission in the Cabinet of former Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič and at the Andalusian Regional Government’s Delegation in Brussels, focusing on EU energy and climate policies. She holds two Master’s degrees — in Corporate Communication and in International Relations and African Studies — and is a regular speaker at academic conferences on communication and EU public affairs.
