Roger Schjerva

Schjerva served as State Secretary (deputy minister) in the Stoltenberg II-goverment (2005-2013). He was all 8 years in the Ministry of Finance. He was chief of staff for SV, a parliamentary group in the Norwegian parliment (1999-2005) and secretary general in the Trade union, YS (2019-2022). He was Chief Economist for ICT-Norway (2014-2019) where macro-economic analyses were combined with operational work for companies who had the public sector, fintech companies and data centers as customers.
He also has broad experience through board work, for Folketrygdfondet (Pension Fund Norway), Port of Oslo (chair) and Meteorologisk institutt (vice-chair). He represents the Labour Party in the municipal council of Halden.
