Nicolai Fredrik Weinstock

Nicolai holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo. In his master thesis, Nicolai examined changes in military thinking and defence cooperation in Sweden and Finland after 2014. During his master’s degree, he specialised in international relations with a focus on defence and security policy in Northern Europe.

Nicolai also has experience working as a research assistant in the political section at the Danish embassy in Oslo. During his time at the embassy, Nicolai worked on a broad range of political issues concerning Norway’s domestic and foreign policy. Furthermore, Nicolai has been politically active for the Labour party (Arbeiderpartiet) since 2011, where he has been involved on the local level, in the cities of both Moss and Tromsø. He is now currently a deputy member for the Labour Party in the Municipal Council of Moss.
