Mona Høvset

Mona brings over 20 years of leadership experience in politics and communications, with a strong track record in developing and executing strategic initiatives. She possesses extensive knowledge of Norwegian politics and maintains solid relationships with key media stakeholders.

At Rud Pedersen, Mona leverages her political and communications expertise to support clients both strategically and operationally, across all sectors. She is a sought-after moderator and has led numerous panel discussions, roundtables, and seminars. In addition, she provides crisis communication, media training and messaging support.

Mona joined Rud Pedersen after nearly a decade as Head of Communications for the Christian Democratic Party (KrF), where she advised the party leadership and top politicians at both the national and local levels. She managed complex processes and was responsible for planning and executing campaigns and election strategies.

Her background also includes ten years in the publishing industry, where she worked as Editorial Director, overseeing the production of approximately 100 book titles annually.

Mona holds a degree in Project Management and International Culture and Society Studies.
