Kent Rosenby

Kent Rosenby supports clients across the defence and security sector with strategic positioning, stakeholder engagement and analysis of Norwegian and European defence policy.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, Kent held a position in the Norwegian Armed Forces as a Higher Executive Officer and Senior Operator, focusing on operational reporting and analytical support. He also has experience from the Home Guard’s Quick Reaction Force and completed conscription in the Army.
Kent has a strong regional understanding of Eastern Europe, drawing on academic and professional experience in geopolitics, intelligence analysis, and policy monitoring. He follows developments in NATO, EU defence initiatives, and Ukraine-related industrial cooperation closely, with particular focus on implications for Norwegian and Nordic defence suppliers.
Kent was previously a trainee at the Norwegian Consulate General in St Petersburg, gaining experience in communications, media monitoring, and policy analysis.
