Karianne Kroglund Monstad

Karianne is a student at the University of Oslo, where she is finishing her bachelor’s degree in Culture and Communication. She specializes in cultural analysis and politics, and has a background in law and development.

Perviously, Karianne worked as a political advisor for the Conservative Students (Høyres Studenter) and the Conservative Youth Party (Unge Høyre). Her responsibilities included running a national political organization, political research and facilitating the organizations international work. Karianne has also held the position of Vice Chairwoman in the Conservative Students in Trondheim. She was a candidate for the Conservative Party in the 2019 local election.

In addition to her work in Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, Karianne currently works as a project coordinator in the Student Welfare Organization (SiO). Her projects involve the creation of environmentally sustainable solutions and developing structures for student welfare.
