John retired as an Air Force Major General, in March 2020. He has extensive leadership experience and has been in top management in both the Norwegian Armed Forces and in public healthcare. He has an in-depth understanding of political and ministerial processes.
John has undertaken major restructuring changes in many of the entities he has been in charge of, resulting in substantial productivity increases, quality improvements and cost reductions. He has unique experience in and knowledge of human performance and limitations and their implications both at an individual and organisational/operational level.
He has many years of experience as a senior consultant in leadership and management team development and organizational changes. He has also been an executive coach for top-level management and leaders.
