Jakob Bjørnøy

Jakob is a consultant in Rud Pedersen’s Energy and Industry team and has many years of experience in both Norwegian and international politics.
He served as Communications Adviser for the Christian Democratic Party (KrF) for two years during their time in the Solberg government, and later as Communications Adviser at Norway’s mission to the UN in New York when Norway held a Security Council seat.
In recent years, he has worked as a political journalist for Altinget, Nettavisen, and Aftenposten, as well as a feature journalist for Dagens Næringsliv. He brings fresh knowledge on how Norway’s national media houses operate, and how to capture their attention. With solid experience from both sides of the table in media outreach, Jakob assists clients in developing strategic communication strategies built on precise political analysis.
Jakob holds a degree in political science and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Oslo.
