Harald Noddeland

Harald has recently retired from the position as Deputy Head of Division of Emergencies and Critical Care at Oslo University Hospital. Before that he served as Medical Director of Vestre Viken and of Hålogalandsykehuset, and as Head of health consulting in PwC. These management positions focus on areas like strategy, clinical workflow quality and efficiency, knowledge management, research and education.
He has clinical experience from work in intensive care and cardiothoracic anesthesia. In addition, he has been responsible for planning and implementation of many projects related to clinical workflow documentation and decision support, monitoring equipment and hospital renovation and newbuild.
Harald holds a MD and PhD from University of Bergen. He is a specialist in anesthesia and intensive care and holds a European Diploma of Anesthesiology. He has studied leadership and hospital management at University of Oslo and has additional education in quality management and medical simulation.
