Specialising in energy and climate policy at Rud Pedersen in Berlin, Mauricio has been part of Rud Pedersen’s Berlin energy policy team since 2023, supporting clients across the energy and climate sectors. He advises on regulatory developments, market design, policy strategy, and political risk assessment.
Mauricio has contributed to campaigns focused on the ramp-up of renewable energies and the transition of fossil energy, including hydrogen, natural gas/LNG, and CCS/CCU technologies. His work also encompasses research projects on electricity grid regulation, renewable energy subsidy schemes, and energy pricing, including the implementation of relevant EU legislation. His work also spans interdisciplinary policy areas, including cybersecurity, raw materials, and mobility.
Outside of Rud Pedersen, Mauricio engages with policy networks focused on energy and foreign affairs.
