Lars advises companies and industry alliances on public affairs, regulatory strategy and complex project delivery. He focuses on converting political, regulatory and reputational challenges into actions that deliver measurable business impact.

As COO of Rud Pedersen Germany, Lars also drives operations, new business and the expansion of our capabilities in the German market. He supports clients in highly regulated and fast-moving sectors, aligning political strategy with commercial objectives, structuring programmes that strengthen market access, and ensuring that advocacy work translates into concrete business outcomes. His recent work spans multi-country positioning, coalition-building and delivering complex cross-border engagements under tight political timelines.

Lars brings almost two decades of international experience across Europe and the U.S. Prior to Rud Pedersen, he reported on politics and global economic issues for Deutsche Welle and Bloomberg, covering negotiations, political crises and regulatory files firsthand. He also worked in business development and speechwriting roles after completing postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics.

Since launching RP’s Berlin office, Lars has helped build the team, operational backbone and partnerships that underpin the firm’s growth in Germany and link it to the wider European network.
