Johanna Holten

Johanna is a Senior Consultant in Rud Pedersen’s Berlin office and part of the Sustainability and Environment Cluster. In this role, she specialises in sustainability and circular economy, advising clients on strategic communication and public affairs at both national and EU level.

She supports clients in aligning their business objectives with the sustainability goals of the EU and its Member States. Her work includes leading projects and advising multinational corporations on eco-design and extended producer responsibility, as well as developing advocacy strategies for packaging companies and trade associations. Johanna helps clients navigate complex regulatory frameworks, analyse policy developments and implement tailored strategies to manage regulatory change effectively.

Before joining Rud Pedersen, Johanna worked for adelphi, an internationally operating think tank on climate, environment and development.
