Kimmo Collander

Kimmo is a generalist by nature, but recently, he has concentrated more towards nature resources related issues: land ownership, management of waterways, mining and nature credits. Kimmo started his public affairs career in 2006 when he moved back to Finland after the 10 years he worked in different advisory positions in the European Parliament.
During his career in public affairs, he has given strategic advice to leading Finnish companies and industry associations, Finnish defence forces, and a number of NGOs. He has written several articles about lobbying and enjoys participating in public discussions.
He enjoys creating concepts for impactful events, from one-off gatherings to widely participated annual conferences.
Kimmo excels in projects that combine research, lobbying and PR. His strong point is in condensing complicated issues in understandable calls for action. He works smoothly both in Finland and in EU environment. His working languages are Finnish, Swedish, English and French and has academic degrees in political science, business, and agriculture.
