Esa Suominen

Esa Suominen specializes in public affairs, political analysis and economic, labour market and education policy. He has worked for the Finnish Government from 2012-2015 as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and as Special Advisor to several Ministers. Before this, Esa was Director for Administration in Finnish Service Union United PAM, which is the second-largest trade union in Finland. From 2009-2011, he worked for the Finnish Social Democratic Party as Director for Political Department, responsible for election manifesto and positions in governmental coalition talks. He has held various positions of trust in healthcare, student and educational organizations.

Esa Suominen graduated from the University of Tampere, Finland with a Master of Social Sciences degree. He has also co-authored several publications on economic and educational reform. He also has up-to-date connections to various fields in Finnish public life and excellent communication skills.
