Steen Werner Hansen

Steen is a Senior Adviser in the healthcare field at Rud Pedersen. He is a medical doctor specialising in medical cancer treatment and has previously been chairman of the Danish Medicines Council. Before that, he was chairman of KRIS (Coordinating Council for the Utilisation of Hospital Medicine) and a member of RADS (Council for the Use of Expensive Hospital Medicine). He has been Deputy Medical Director at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital as well as Herlev and Gentofte Hospital. For periods, he was acting director at Herlev and Gentofte Hospital.
In addition, for more than 15 years until 2021, he was scientific advisor to the EMA (European Medicines Agency) in oncology/haematology. Since 2022, he has been on the board of Human Bytes, a company that provides health technology solutions.
