Asta Schmidt Frandsen

Specialised in energy, with experience from both central government and the municipal level.

At Rud Pedersen, Asta helps companies and sector stakeholders navigate the Danish and European energy landscape. While her core focus is energy, she also works across other policy areas. Asta translates complex regulation and insight about policy processes into clear, actionable strategies and executive-ready briefs, identifying relevant policy windows and building stakeholder roadmaps that span ministries, agencies, municipalities and industry. In addition, she has experience translating analysis and data into concise, decision-ready input for targeted public-affairs strategies and campaigns.

Asta previously worked as a junior consultant at Rud Pedersen. Her background also includes student roles at the Ministry of Children and Education and at Local Government Denmark’s Centre for Climate & Business. She is pursuing an MSc in Political Science at the University of Copenhagen.
