Anders Würtzen

Specialising in public affairs, government relations, business advisory and strategic communication, Anders provides expert guidance to clients in sectors such as energy, industry, logistics and international affairs.

As Senior Adviser, Anders offers strategic counsel to clients, leveraging his extensive experience with business and government affairs. Anders has led campaigns and provided insights on public policy development, negotiation of complex cross-border business agreements, building of international relations for business development and political risk mitigation, and advising multinational corporations and governmental bodies on how to manage and navigate multi-interest regulatory environments to achieve timely and tangible results.

Recent projects include: Advising multinational energy corporations on developing public affairs strategies to support ambitious business objectives; leading public affairs and strategic communication campaigns for advanced technological corporations to secure material business development; and building effective government relations strategies for state owned enterprises.

Before joining Rud Pedersen, Anders held a number of leadership roles, including Head of Section at the Danish Energy Agency, Senior Vice President at Maersk Oil, and Vice President of Global Public Affairs at A.P. Moller – Maersk. During his career, he has headed disciplines such as Legal, Contingency Planning, Commercial Services and Public Affairs.

Anders is a seasoned leader with a strong understanding of both business strategy and geopolitics, drawing on his legal background (MA Law), extensive international business relations, and leadership training from IMD and Harvard Business School.
