Specialising in political analysis, European Union affairs, and international relations, Dimitar recently joined Rud Pedersen Public Affairs Bulgaria.

As a Consultant, he is tasked with performing in-depth and strategic desk research to gather valuable information and analyze trends. In addition to this, he is responsible for closely tracking media, political, and regulatory changes, ensuring that he stays up-to-date on relevant developments.

Additionally, he provides expert support to a diverse portfolio of clients spanning industries such as energy, defense, and agriculture. Dimitar plays an integral role in the design and implementation of tailored Public Affairs and Communications strategies, both in Bulgaria and across Europe. With experience collaborating with government agencies and international financial institutions, he leverages a broad network and expertise to drive impactful outcomes for clients.

Prior to joining Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, Dimitar worked in London as a Country Strategy Analyst for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political and Administrative Sciences from the University of Granada and a Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. During his university years, Dimitar interned at the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Dimitar is fluent in Spanish, English, and Bulgarian, with a working proficiency in German.
