Anelia joined Rud Pedersen Public Affairs Bulgaria as a Director in 2024, bringing extensive experience in public affairs and public relations. Previously, as Deputy Regional Director at the Department for Business and Trade at the British Embassy in Sofia, she expanded the UK's footprint in Central Europe. Anelia played a vital role in deploying major digital and trade projects and in supporting the process of developing strategic partnership between the countries. During her professional career, she led teams across the region delivering billion-dollar defence procurements in Poland, Slovakia, and Romania, and securing infrastructure projects in Poland and Serbia.

Anelia also gained additional solid defence background while working as Regional Director at a leading international defence company. She was involved in overseeing high-standard products implementation and securing significant government contracts.

Anelia has a profound understanding of policy mechanics not only in Bulgaria but also in Central Europe and excels in articulating complex information and ideas to a variety of audiences, including ambassadors, senior officials, and decision makers and C-level executives.
