Specialising in energy and climate policy, Selina advises clients on navigating the EU Green and Clean Industrial Deal agenda.
Selina is an Account Director at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs Brussels, specializing in EU energy and climate policy. She advises clients on aligning business strategies with European legislation and engaging on said legislation, particularly in the context of the energy transition and climate regulation. Selina leads cross-office teams and develops advocacy strategies across EU and national legislative processes. Her recent work includes spearheading a political campaign for carbon capture and storage, advising clients on the Clean Industrial Deal, and positioning clean technologies such as renewable fuels.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, Selina worked at the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, where she was involved in the implementation of the Swiss Energy Strategy 2050 as well as programmes supporting clean technologies. She also worked for the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation's governmental affairs division and engaged in legislative and political discussions, as well as a local journalist. Selina holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Politics from the University of Fribourg/Freiburg and a Master’s degree in Political Strategy and Communication, with a focus on Foreign Policy, from the University of Kent. She is fluent in English, French, and German.
