As Director at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in Brussels, Nicholas leads client relationships, focusing on shaping communications strategies that influence policy across sectors such as agri-science, technology, energy, and healthcare. Recent projects include developing policy communications strategies for multinational corporations seeking to build their brand reputations with EU institutional audiences and designing and implementing integrated pan-European campaigns for clients in the agri, tech and healthcare industries.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, Nicholas was Managing Director at BCW Brussels, leading international client relationships. He has also worked as a political communications strategist in the Middle East and North Africa, including advising the Iraqi Prime Minister’s office, and serving as NATO’s civilian spokesperson in Afghanistan. Earlier in his career, Nicholas worked for Ogilvy & Mather in Brussels and later in the UAE providing strategic communications counsel to a wide range of government and private sector clients. He began his career in the British Army, retiring as a Major after ten years of service.
Nicholas holds a BA (Hons) in Government & Economics from Loughborough University and is fluent in English and French.
