Eglė Karečkaitė

Eglė has wide-ranging experience in the fields of energy and climate change. She started as a manager of community renewable energy and energy poverty projects in local government in London. Prior to joining Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, she was involved in the management of several European level renewable energy and energy storage projects. She also set up and managed three European associations on battery and other energy storage technologies. Eglė is also a co-founder of a sustainable consumption non-profit in Sweden. For the last few years, she has specialised in EU energy and climate policy, including the Fit for 55 package, the REPowerEU plan, the Electricity Market Design, and the Batteries Regulation.

Eglė holds a Master’s in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science and a Bachelor’s in Politics and International Relations.
