Diane Watson

Director Brussels

Diane Watson is a Director responsible for the healthcare, environment and chemicals practices of the Brussels office. She brings to the team over 20 years of extensive EU public affairs experience from consultancy, in-house government affairs and in a trade association. In her roles, she has focused on a variety of policy and advocacy for the consumer goods and healthcare sectors. Diane started her EU affairs career working on consumer safety issues in the consumer policy directorate of the European Commission. Her most recent experience prior to joining Rud Pedersen was in the consumer goods industry, where her most recent work included a multitude of policy and advocacy issues under the European Green Deal. In previous roles, she has worked intensely on a wide array of EU and global healthcare policy and advocacy issues. In her spare time she is a passionate volunteer parent advocate for the rare disease community, specifically the condition Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON).
