Angus Robertson
Senior Account Manager, Brussels
Angus is a Senior Account Manager in the Energy and Climate Cluster in Rud Pedersen Brussels.
With experience in public institutions and the private sector at Rud Pedersen Angus has supported organisations on policies across the Fit for 55 agenda in energy and climate policy, leading accounts in the energy technologies, automotive, and fuels sectors. He has led on integrated public affairs projects, taking strategies from development to delivery; these include issue management and prioritisation, policy development and preparation, stakeholder identification and engagement, events and communications, and c-suite profiling.
As a consultant he has also advised national governments – namely on trade policy – and has worked on energy security in Ukraine in supporting international firms looking to deliver services for critical energy infrastructure.
This builds on his background in Westminster during the Brexit process where he served as a political advisor, and from previous roles in Brussels including with the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and in consultancy positions advising on EU financial services policies. He has also worked for a business association and completed traineeships at the European Parliament and Scotland House Brussels.
