Alicia del Pozo
Research Executive, Brussels
Alicia is a Research Executive in the Food and Agriculture cluster at RPPA Brussels. She holds a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Laws and International Relations from IE University, and a Master’s Degree in International and EU Laws from Maastricht University. During her studies, she acquired thorough knowledge on the functioning of the EU and the international regime, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the EU agri-food policy and the sustainability framework.
Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, Alicia was a Policy Trainee at the Council of the EU for the unit working on Animal Welfare, Plant Health, Food and Forestry, within the Directorate-General of Agriculture, where she gained experience in stakeholders’ engagement, the development of the EU decision-making process and negotiation practices. She is also a Project, Research and Teaching Officer at the Institute for European Studies and the Centre of Research in Political Science at UCLouvain Saint-Louis in Brussels, where she is helping to implement the “EU Environmental Policies and Law” programme by assisting on its preparation, content and delivery of courses.
Alicia is a Spanish native speaker, she is fluent in English and she has an intermediate level of French.
