The Rud Pedersen Group strengthens its digital offering by acquiring the digital agency We Made You Look (WMYL).
The acquisition will further broaden the Rud Pedersen Group’s wide range of services.
Morten Rud Pedersen, the Group’s Founder and CEO, welcomes the acquisition. “WMYL is a valuable addition to Welcom and the Group as a whole. Our digital offering is expanding in accordance with digitalisation’s ever-increasing importance to modern communication services. This will help us continue to offer the right solutions to our clients.”
WMYL will join the Group by merging into Welcom, the Group’s sub-brand specialising in creative digital marketing.
“We have recently recruited some key employees and, with the acquisition of WMYL, we have taken a big step forward in our digital competence,” says Welcom CEO Joakim Brinkenberg.
“We have been following WMYL and their work for a while and, in addition to them being a young and sharp crew, we like their way of tackling challenges and tasks. We are in complete alignment and have already begun working together on daily creative processes.”
WMYL CEO Anna Singer states that the step into Welcom feels both natural and inspiring.
“By joining Welcom and the Rud Pedersen Group, our employees are working in a larger context. We are solving communication problems in conjunction with other specialists to create business benefits for clients. It is a smart design that has all the prerequisites to succeed. It will be very exciting to work with Welcom and the Group.”
The Rud Pedersen Group is a full-service strategic communications consultancy with offices in six countries. The company was established in 2002 and employs over 180 consultants. Welcom, based in Gothenburg, had sales of 27 million SEK in 2018 and employs 30 people with the acquisition of WMYL.
