Since February 2021, Max has worked as a Public Affairs Consultant with a focus on defence.
Prior to joining Rud Pedersen as a Researcher in September 2019, Max worked at the Royal Embassy of Denmark in Washington, DC as an intern for defense and security policy. In this capacity, he focused on NATO, cyber/5G, missile defense and the Arctic. During his time in DC, Max gained valuable insight into the political environment of the United States, along with policy processes in the Danish central administration and diplomatic efforts.
While pursuing his B.Sc., Max was the editor-in-chief of RÆSON, a Danish-based news media on current and international affairs. Working with top politicians, journalists, and experts on Danish and international politics, he became well-versed in the Danish political arena and public debate. Moreover, he was a member of the panel judging the most influential debaters during 2017 and 2018, chosen by the largest newspaper in Denmark, Politiken.
Max holds a M.Sc. in Political Science with a specialization in Foreign Policy from the University of Copenhagen.
