Karin brings to the Brussels team research experience in the fields of security and energy. Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, she worked for a think-tank on a report examining the criminal backgrounds of arrested terrorists as well as conducting research in Malawi on the feasibility of utilizing renewables to boost the country's electrification rates. Additionally, Karin has a background in national governmental institutions working for the Slovak Ministry of Interior as well as the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
Karin holds a BA in War Studies and a dual Master's degree in Sustainable Development and Management from the University of St. Andrews and Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
