Ilaria has over seven years of EU public affairs experience in consulting and the EU institutions. She specialises in EU-focused public affairs and influencing strategies in the energy, climate, environment and trade policy areas. Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, Ilaria worked for a Public Affairs and Communications consultancy, advising corporations and industry bodies on both legislative and regulatory advocacy campaigns in Brussels.
Her expertise builds on her previous work at Italy’s Permanent Representation to the EU during the Italian Presidency, where she worked on several Council configurations including energy, industry and environment. She has also worked in a Brussels-based association advising member companies on energy and climate policies and funding opportunities for technology development in these areas. Before that, she had a stint in the European Commission DG Trade.
