Gørill Husby Moore has worked as a strategic advisor specializing in communications, Public Affairs and sustainability for the PR agency Trigger. Gørill joined Trigger after leading the award-winning Stop The Wedding campaign in 2014 (#stoppbryllupet). She has more than 15 years of experience from the customer side, where she has navigated the area of politics and business strategy, with corporate communications and political insight as her main areas of expertise. She has also been Director of Communications for NGOs such as CARE and Plan Norway, and she headed all communication work for the worlds largest telethon, NRK “TV Aksjonen” in 2009.
Gørill has extensive experience in addition to her PR agency and Communications Director positions. She has worked as a foreign journalist based in Africa and Mexico, where she wrote for a number of Scandinavian newspapers. She was formerly a reporter for TIME Magazine, with her reporting being featured in two front page stories. She has also been the Nordic correspondent for British JANE's Intelligence Review. She was a school teacher and Chief Editor of the press agency IPS.
Gørill holds a degree in Comparative Religion from the University of Bergen. As an academic, she was a fellow at the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala and at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), where she studied political Islam.
