Eirik Torsvoll holds a Master's degree in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, where he also studied at the Harvard Kennedy School. He specializes in defence and security affairs, and has published several texts on the topic.
He has also studied research methodology at the University of Oslo and taken summer courses in American foreign and security policy at Harvard University. During his master's studies he was the recipient of the Fulbright and Norway-America Association scholarships.
Eirik worked as a research consultant at the University of Oslo before joining Rud Pedersen. He has also held positions at the Norwegian Atlantic Committee and the Norwegian Consulate General in Houston, Texas. He has been active in the YATA (Youth Atlantic Treaty Association) network and held several leadership positions on the Norwegian national board.
