Duncan comes from a background in sport, having played rugby professionally in Ireland and France for many years. During the course of his career, he developed a strong reputation as a talented communicator, writing regularly for various local and national publications on a variety of issues including sport, housing policy and international affairs. In addition to this, Duncan presents the Irish Examiner's flagship weekly rugby podcast.
Having completed qualifications in Law and Social Policy during his rugby career, Duncan recently completed a master's degree in Politics at the University of Limerick, where he focused on European politics.
